I work with entrepreneurs to customize Foresight templates, transfer their existing models into a Foresight structure, refine or review an existing model already being used by an entrepreneur, build completely custom models for forecasting and budgeting, review fundraising pitches, and more, all on a per-hour or per-project basis. For a select number of companies, I lead the monthly recurring reporting, analysis and forecasting process and assist with strategic analysis of financial and operational metrics as a part of the team.

I’ve delivered models for a wide range of businesses including pre-Seed, Seed and Series A funded startups to mature multi-million dollar businesses. Industries modeled have included ecommerce, SaaS, advertising, digital media, content, media, retail, gaming, in-app businesses, investment funds, and more.
  •  Time and cost depends on model’s goals and scope. Scope and project plan will be determined prior to start, and costs are billed either per-hour or per-project.

How it Works

  • Decide on your goal

    The most important thing - and one of the first questions I’ll ask - is what you want to accomplish with a model. Having the goal set - a customization to a template to exactly fit your business, a custom model targeted for an investor pitch, a forecasting model to use your existing financials and track your forecasts and budgets to actuals - is the first step in figuring out the best way for us to work together.

  • Refine your existing model, roll your model into a Foresight template, or build a new custom model.

    The right path to accomplish your goal can vary depend on what you are coming from. You might have an existing model that can be refined by adding on a couple key components. Or you may have an existing model that is better moved forward by rolling it into a Foresight template. Or you may need to customize a template to fit your business idea. Or, perhaps you will need a completely custom model that’s made specifically for your business. The right path varies, but it you have an idea of your end goal I will help figure out the best path to get to what you need.

  • One-time project or monthly forecasting and analysis?

    For many entrepreneurs, creating the right model is a one-time process; we can work together to build the right model that you can then own and update without needing additional help in the future. But for others, we can work together on a regular basis to continue to update your model to update your forecasts, refine your analyses, and compare your forecasts and budgets with your actual results.
